If you have a larger face and cheeks, I would size up into the XL. If you want to wear these as covers to other face masks, it’s recommended to size up to the XL size as well.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) have released statements indicating that sewn cotton or polyester face masks may be used in situations of extreme shortage of personal protective equipment, but there is no evidence that sewn cloth masks protect from exposure to COVID-19 or other viruses.
